Jenkins Johnson presented artists who explore social and political issues of the Diaspora by bridging past and contemporary moments: Wadsworth Jarrell, Gordon Parks, Ming Smith, Dewey Crumpler, Lisa Corinne Davis, Blessing Ngobeni, Enrico Riley and Philemona Williamson. On a daily rotation, one wall in our booth will expand the viewing to include work by one of five emerging painters: Veronica Fernandez, Alex Jackson, Amani Lewis, Raelis Vasquez and Cameron Welch. This staggered presentation creates a dialogue across generations that is reflective of our time.
