Ghanaian-American curator and cultural critic Larry Ossei-Mensah has organized exhibitions and programs at commercial and non-profit spaces around the globe in addition to documenting cultural happenings featuring the most dynamic visual artists working today. Ossei-Mensah currently serves as the Susanne Feld Hilberry Senior Curator at MOCAD and co-founder of the 501(c)(3) ARTNOIR, a former Critic-in Residence at ART OMI, and a mentor in the New Museum’s incubator program, NEW INC. He recently co-curated a solo exhibition of Allison Janae Hamilton’s work at MASSMoCA with Susan Cross, and a group exhibition entitled Parallels and Peripheries on view at the ArtCenter/South Florida in Miami Beach.

 

For the seventh edition of Untitled Art, Miami Beach Ossei-Mensah curated Lizania Cruz’s We the News presented by the ArtCenter/South Florida.
