You’ve still got a couple more months to go explore the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts’ latest exhibition, “The Triumph of Nature: Art Nouveau from the Chrysler Museum of Art” (as well as a few other currently running shows), but AMFA is already diligently preparing for 2025.
Come Feb. 7, the Harriet and Warren Stephens Family Gallery — currently housing “The Triumph of Nature,” which runs through Jan. 12 — will welcome “Rivera’s Paris,” a new exhibition dedicated to Diego Rivera’s younger years in Europe, where he “formed his ideas about art and the world that ultimately would propel him to become one of the most influential Mexican painters in the 20th century.” Curated and organized by AMFA, the centerpiece of the exhibition is “Dos Mujeres” (1914), a Cubist painting that’s been part of AFMA’s permanent collection since 1955. A longer description of the exhibition is available here.
